SpartaGrants has a built-in System-to-System (S2S) portal for the submission of proposals through . This helps to reduce the rejection of proposals due to missing or incorrect information, making it the strongly preferred method of application submissions. Some of the benefits of S2S include:

Sometimes, a funding opportunity is not supported by SpartaGrants (e.g. NIH P50, P30, any multi-component grant) or requires an alternate submission method. In those cases, applications should be initiated/submitted in accordance with the funding opportunity guidelines and/or an in an alternate portal (i.e. ASSIST, grants.gov, research.gov, etc).
