Karen Dunn is the assistant director of the Office of Pre-Award Services and Agreements (PASA) in the Office of Research and Technology Management. She primarily handles pre-award matters, including proposal development assistance, proposal submission and contract negotiations for Case School of Engineering. She began her ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ career in 2009 as a grant accountant in the post-award office and in 2012 was promoted and transitioned to PASA.
Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University with a concentration in marketing, has earned the Office of Research Administration Certificate of Leadership and Management from the Weatherhead Executive Education Program, and is a Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) Certified Research Administrator.
Karen has previously served as a co-chair of the Fringe Benefits Committee for the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Staff Advisory Counsel and is a 2013 graduate of the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Engagement's Train the Champion program. She has also served on various other committees in her time at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Karen is committed to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s mission and core values and is proud to serve the research community.
