Christian P. Swol is the associate director of the Conflict of Interests Office at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Christian has more than 10 years of experience in research administration. He started as an IT technician and then became an analyst/programmer during his first tour at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, but he now focuses on reviewing and managing research-related conflicts of interest (COI). Working with investigators to navigate COI requirements is the core mission of the team.
Christian served as a past chair of the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Staff Advisory Council. He is a current member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
Christian also has a background in nonprofit organizations and banking institutions. He has an extensive background interacting with many different types of software systems and is an effective communicator who is detail-oriented. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare systems from ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s Weatherhead and is a proud graduate of John Carroll University’s Boler School of Management.
