The Frederick K. Cox International Law Center was established in 1991 through a multimillion-dollar endowment from the George Gund Foundation. The Cox Center serves as the hub of the law school's international law program, which includes The Canada-U.S. Law Institute, Institute for Global Security, Law and Policy, Henry T. King, Jr. War Crimes Research Office, Yemen Accountability Project and Talking Foreign Policy.

US Government Endorses Dean Scharf’s Proposal for an Internationalized Ukraine War Crimes Court to Prosecute Russian Aggression
April 10, 2023Last summer, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Law Co-Dean Michael Scharf and his colleagues at the Public International Law and Policy Group (PILPG) drafted model legislation to establish the Ukraine High Court for War Crimes. The project was the result of weeks of research and meetings with Ukrainian and U.S. legal experts.
