In addition to our in-person program, we are proud to offer an accredited part-time, online JD program. Our innovative curriculum responds to the ever-evolving legal world and equips our students to do the same. Our emphasis on experiential learning produces graduates who are well-prepared to adapt to the rapidly changing legal profession.
For more information see the interview with the Faculty Director of the Online Program.
Fully Remote, Part-Time Schedule
Our new, part-time law program is open to students across the country seeking a flexible path to their JD degree. We offer one of the first fully remote JD programs with no in-person residency or visitation requirements (there are optional on-campus opportunities). Remote students will be able to take advantage of experiential education opportunities online or in a location near them. And they will enjoy a small cohort size that will allow students to build key relationships and network within their class.
Highly-Ranked Faculty
Online JD students will be instructed by the same highly-ranked faculty as in-person students, with courses designed and taught by some of the leading law faculty in the U.S. Their work has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, the International Court of Justice, International Criminal Tribunals and many other courts. Our faculty regularly testify before Congress and they frequently appear in the media -- and their first priority is the success of our students (Princeton Review ranks us 26th best in terms of quality of teaching).
Extracurricular Activities
Remote students will have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities including certain law journals and Moot Court and Mock Trial teams. And students will still have options for hands-on experiences with nearby or remote externship opportunities.
Worldwide Alumni Network
Whether you are located in Cleveland, Calcutta or Copenhagen, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Law alumni are sure to be nearby. Enjoy the benefits of a worldwide alumni network made up of over 11,000 living alumni including leaders such as Fred Gray, a 2022 Presidential Medal of Freedom winner who served as counsel to Martin Luther King; Christopher Rassi, The Chief of Staff of the International Federation of the Red Cross in Geneva; and Congressman Michael Turner, who Chairs the House Select Committee on Intelligence, just to name a few.
