We invite you to participate in our alumni events, including the annual all-class alumni/faculty reunion dinner and separate class receptions during alumni weekend; CLE-eligible symposiums and lectures at the Law School, and around the country; the Society of Bencher's dinner (invitation-only event for inducted members) and various law school celebrations.
Alumni, faculty and guests filled The Silver Grille in the former Higbee’s Department Store for the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Law’s annual Alumni and Faculty Scholarship Luncheon on April 10th. This annual event supports scholarships at the law school, which play a crucial role in supporting the educational aspirations of a future generation of lawyers.
2024 Alumni and Faculty Scholarship Luncheon
From an era when shopping at a downtown department store was an event, for over fifty years, The Silver Grille located on the 10th floor of Higbee’s was known for the quality of its food, its attentive staff and its unique Art Deco interior. It is now a restored event space managed by The Ritz Carlton and the prefect space for the law school to honor awardees including: Distinguished Recent Graduate Mayor Justin Bibb (LAW ’18, MGT ’18); Joan Gross ’76 Annual Fund recipients John Krajewski (LAW ’85) and Judy Steiner (LAW ’87); Distinguished Teacher Ayesha Bell Hardaway (LAW ’04); and Centennial Medal recipient Judge Mary Jane Trapp (LAW ’81).
The event also provided an opportunity to celebrate the tenure of Co-Deans Jessica Berg and Michael Scharf as they end their 10+ year tenure at the helm of the School of Law.
