The Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree program (CBM) (formerly Integrated Graduate Studies- IGS) is intended for highly motivated current ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ undergraduate students who are candidates for any bachelor's degree and whose objective is to complete a Master of Public Health degree. Qualified students may be admitted to the MPH program and pursue the simultaneous completion of requirements for both the master’s and bachelor’s degrees. When to Apply
In most cases, a student will submit their application during their sixth semester of undergraduate course enrollment spring of their junior year. The student should have completed approximately 75 credit hours of coursework toward their bachelor’s degree before applying. 90 credit hours must be completed and junior status achieved prior to beginning their MPH courses.
Admission Deadlines: A limited number of BS/MPH or BA/MPH combined degree program training slots are available each year. Therefore, we encourage applicants to apply early. Apply by April 15 to be considered in the first round of reviews. The final date of application submission for the fall semester is July 15.

Materials Required for a Completed Application:
Online Application: . Please indicate that you are applying to the School of Medicine, Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Public Health.
Resume/CV: Upload your current resume/CV outlining all work experience and volunteer roles with timeframes. Make sure to highlight any completed research positions or opportunities experienced.
Personal Statement: discuss your motivation for obtaining a MPH degree. Your personal statement should be 1 page in length.
Reflection Essay: Provide a brief description of how your personal or academic background and experiences have prepared you for graduate, professional training in public health and how the program will help you achieve your community’s public health objectives. Please also discuss and explain any unusual patterns or anomalies in your academic or professional record (for example, gaps in work or education, or a poor semester performance). The reflection essay should be 1-2 pages in length.
Recommendations: 3 evaluators total, sent electronically through the application portal. At least one of the recommendations MUST be from an academic institution/instructor.
Unofficial transcripts: In order to expedite the review, unofficial transcripts MUST be uploaded into the application. Please make sure uploaded unofficial transcripts are legible. Official transcripts are required by ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Graduate Studies upon matriculation.
