Naeun earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare from Sungshin Women's University in Korea in 2015, driven by a desire to deepen her international studies in this field, which led her to pursue studies in the United States.
In the Fall of 2020, Lim Naeun began her Master's program at ASU, although due to the worsening COVID situation, she completed two semesters online from Korea. In the Fall of 2021, she relocated to Arizona and developed a keen interest in child and family welfare during internships at the City of Phoenix-Housing Department and the Department of Child Safety.
Naeun served as a Research Assistant in the Spring of 2023, contributing to the development and completion of a thesis, and it was published. Naeun completed her Capstone project and graduated with a Master's degree from ASU. Currently residing in Arizona, she has been working as a Therapist since July 2023 at Teris's Health Services, where she conducts individual and group counseling sessions at group homes as a Facility Clinician. Presently, she works as a Pre-DBT Therapist at Valle Del Sol, offering individual, group, and family counseling, case management, and accumulating diverse experiences in child and family welfare, focusing on children aged 9-13.
Her research interests include child abuse, child neglect, domestic violence, and international child welfare. Lim Naeun looks forward to engaging in various research opportunities at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
