Kathleen Farkas, associate professor, and Richard Romaniuk, lecturer, have been selected as visiting scholars in the program for summer 2020.

Social Work Advances is an international MA in Social Work program. Students rotate between university departments in five European countries: Denmark, France, Poland, Portugal and the United Kingdom. The 22-month course is explicitly targeted at qualified, experienced social workers from around the world who wish to upgrade their practice skills, especially with a transnational focus.

Farkas and Romaniuk are working with the University of Warsaw for the 2020 summer term and are responsible for a series of lectures and workshops on innovations in social work. Because they are visiting scholars, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ will be listed as an associate partner for this program.

Farkas also was a visiting scholar for the Social Work Advances program in 2017.
