CIN facilitates listening sessions with Euclid Hope Task Force

The Euclid community recently launched efforts to reduce gun violence in the city with the first of three community listening sessions on Nov. 13.

The meeting was convened by the , a nonprofit founded in the wake of rising gun violence in 2022 in Euclid.

Mark Chupp, associate professor and founding director of the Community Innovation Network (CIN), co-moderated the session with Gloria Craig, a Mandel School MSW graduate, facilitator for CIN and a civic strategist for Cleveland Votes, and will do so for additional listening sessions Nov. 18 and 23 as part of the Mandel School's role in developing policy proposals and an action plan based on ideas from community members.

While the Task Force has regular ‘’ meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, the meeting on Nov. 13 was the first of three listening sessions.
