ideastream: Megan Holmes, associate professor and founding director of the Center on Trauma and Adversity, discussed the research she’s leading to help transform the City of Cleveland’s 22 recreation centers into places that provide mental health support to youth dealing with trauma.
“To have a space where children and adults feel safe to go to, where they feel like they’re supported and valued is such an important part of the healing process,” she said.
