Jayakrishnan Ajayakumar, PhD, is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Population & Quantitative Health Sciences at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. At 10 am in BRB 105 Ajayakumar will speak on the emerging role for geospatial data, technologies, and analytics in health and healthcare. Recent advances in geospatial computing, cyberinfrastructure, and fine-scale data collection techniques provide ample opportunities for understanding the impact of place on health in near real-time, which is key for operational research.
