Joseph M. Rifici, CAA, M.Ed., was honored this year with emeritus membership in the American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAAA) in recognition of his contributions spanning over 40 years to CAA education and the development of the CAA profession. This award was conferred at the AAAA conference in Orlando, Florida on April 13, 2024. Emeritus members are those members of the AAAA who have rendered outstanding service to the AAAA and are nominated to emeritus membership by the membership committee and elected by the board of directors.
