Interfolio is an online platform that manages faculty processes, including faculty searches, appointments, promotions, and award of tenure. This allows for candidates to conveniently track what materials they need, as well as allow department administrators, committees, and faculty affairs staff to move materials forward through the review process. The University has made the decision to use Interfolio for faculty search and route all faculty applications (appointments, promotions, transfers) through this software.
Faculty Affairs began this rollout with our basic science departments on ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s main campus and University Hospitals/VA clinical departments in 2022. In 2024, MetroHealth clinical departments and CCLCM of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ departments completed this rollout.

For faculty appointments with any ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ pay (i.e. basic science or dual-paid appointments), departments must have both their faculty searches and offer letters approved prior to recruiting and hiring faculty members.
