Miller is a radiation oncologist subspecializing in the treatment of head/neck neoplasms within Cleveland Clinic's Taussig Cancer Institute. As a translational research scientist, he also has a dual appointment within the Center for Immunotherapy and Precision Immuno-Oncology, wherein he conducts laboratory-based research studying virally-associated neoplasms of the oropharynx, nasopharynx, and anal canal. As a native of Ohio and alumnus of both ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and the Lerner College of Medicine, Miller is passionate about the prevention and treatment of these cancers in his community.

His research is focused on early detection, biomarker-adapted therapy, and immunotherapy resistance for these cancers using a molecular biology approach. He also has extensive experience in bioinformatics and epidemiologic microsimulations of tumor progression to aid the design of cancer screening programs. Miller's long-term goal is to conduct federally-funded translational cancer research and clinical trials that incorporate cost-effective diagnostics for these malignancies.
