The city of Cleveland, along with the 15 northeast Ohio counties that our center services, struggles with a high rate of poverty as well as an above-average cancer mortality rate.
To engage as many Ohio residents as possible to advance cancer research and care, the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center's (Case CCC) Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) team undertakes culturally sensitive research, education, and outreach programs.

Case CCC installed sunscreen dispensers at Cleveland Metroparks beaches and golf courses for free, convenient, and easy access to FDA-approved, SPF 30 sunscreen to help prevent skin cancer.
