Director's Message

Gary Schwartz Arms Crossed

At the beginning of 2025, the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center was recognized by the National Cancer Institute with a merit award of outstanding achievement, renewing our Comprehensive Cancer Center designation.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible faculty, researchers, clinicians, and staff as well as the vital support of our consortium partners: ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, University Hospitals, and Cleveland Clinic. Together, we have built a culture of collaboration that prioritizes innovation, compassion, and a relentless drive to advance cancer research, treatment, and care.

This achievement is about real impact—improving outcomes for patients. As ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ President Eric Kaler noted, our efforts are making a difference both nationally and right here at home.

Every day, I am inspired by the progress we are making as a collective force for change—driving state-of-the-art cancer research, offering world-class care, and fostering the next wave of groundbreaking cancer scientists. I am honored to be Director of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Together, we make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by cancer, providing hope in the face of adversity. And, I am certain that together, we can conquer cancer.
