Dr. Lindner’s research involves the study of mechanisms of acquired drug resistance in renal cancer, and development of more effective drugs to treat myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. His research in the Athymic Animal & Xenograft Core Facility at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ deals with utilizing human and mouse tumor models, angiogenesis (growth of blood vessels stimulated by tumors) and pharmacokinetics (the movement and metabolism of drugs in the body). Animal experiments are routinely conducted in the Athymic Animal & Xenograft Core, including research on mouse and human tumor models.
