Career Well-being

Participating in professional development programs and activities, offered within or external to the university, will meet the participation guidelines for this incentive. Regular participation over a multi-week period (attending at least 85% of sessions over a minimum of 7-8 weeks), is necessary to be eligible for this incentive.

Why is this important?

Using one’s strengths every day and maximizing professional potential enhances overall well-being and helps increase enjoyment and engagement at work. The Gallup organization recognizes five elements of well-being that are essential for life-long health: Career, Social, Financial, Physical, and Community. Career Well-being is the most essential of all five elements critical to well-being, as identified by Gallup. Adding a Career Well-being category to our suite of Program Incentive areas will advance the impact of well-being at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. In doing so, we will help people more fully thrive at work.
