International Student Resources

In addition to the excellent resources and opportunities provided by the Weatherhead School and the Department of Accountancy, faculty and staff work closely with international students, advising them on their academic studies and career development.

International students are permitted to work off campus legally in the U.S. after the first academic year through Current Practical Training (CPT), while still registered as a full-time student. After completing the program, they may work through Optional Practical Training (OPT) for another 12 months to seek further development in professional areas. Students who complete the STEM track of the MAcc program are eligible to extend the OPT for another 24 months.

Accountancy Practicum Program

This program provides accountancy students with the opportunity to maintain full-time student status while working full time in practical settings to enhance their professional skills.
