Dear School of Medicine community,
What an incredible finale to the fall semester to witness and participate in Doc Opera 2023: Medically Blonde!
Congratulations to the more than 200 medical students who participated in Doc Opera both on and off stage—incredible singers, dancers, actors, writers, directors, musicians and technical crews all contributed to the show’s success. The more than 700 faculty, friends and family—many from out of town—enjoyed themselves thoroughly. And we were pleased to have ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ President Eric W. Kaler in attendance for the evening.
Doc Opera supports the Student Run Health Clinic, which is an amazing learning experience and environment that enables us to provide outpatient experiences in a community setting.
But the best part was the enthusiasm of the entirety and the remarkable lyrics, both written and performed flawlessly. I'm sure every future exam will yield a similar flawless result.
Happy holidays and we all look forward to a spirited 2024!
Sincerely,
Stan Gerson, MD
Dean and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs
School of Medicine, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½
