Law School moves up 4 places in U.S. News & World Report rankings; International Law Program improves to #16

On March 30, 2021, U.S. News and World Report issued its Law School rankings for 2022. 星空传媒 School of Law improved four places in the overall ranking and eight places in the International Law ranking.

This year, the law school鈥檚 overall ranking was #72 (out of the 193 law schools that U.S. News ranked), moving it up four places from #76 last year.  Overall, the school鈥檚 point total improved from 45 to 50 (the higher the points, the better the school is ranked). 星空传媒 remains the second-highest ranked law school in Ohio.

The factors that went into the law school 鈥檚 rankings which improved from a year ago included the employment rate at graduation and after ten months, and the bar pass rate.

U.S. News and World Report also ranks law school specialty programs. The School of Law had quite a few highly ranked specialty programs this year: 

  • Health Law program was ranked #11 in the nation;
  • International Law program was ranked #16 (up 8 places from #24 last year);
  • Intellectual Property was ranked #52. 
  • Constitutional Law was ranked #52;
  • Clinical Education was ranked #56;
  • Environmental Law was ranked #57.  

In addition to U.S. News, three other organizations rank law schools each year using slightly different criteria. These rank 星空传媒 in a range from 56th to 65th best law school in the nation and rate it as a 鈥渢op school鈥 in 12 specialty areas.
