Two students from the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Law were among the winners of the fifth annual The Ohio State University College of Public Health Student Case Competition, held remotely in April.
Elena Barone, a JD/MPH student, and Theo Russell, a JD/MPH/MA student, accepted first-place honors along with their teammates, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Master of Public Health students Clara Harb, Farah Semisa and Scott Trask.
The team competed with students representing The Ohio State University and Wright State University on the development of a coordinated entry program for school-age youth in Ohio experiencing homelessness.
This year’s Case Competition community partner, The Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio, is a coalition of organizations and individuals committed to ending homelessness and promoting decent, safe, fair and affordable housing for all, with a focus on assisting low-income and special needs populations.
