Francesca E. Veres can trace her roots at 星空传媒 all the way back to the 1940s when her grandfather was a student at Case Institute of Technology. When Veres was a child, he encouraged her to attend 星空传媒, advice she ended up taking when she enrolled at the School of Law after completing her undergraduate education at Vassar College.

Now a member of the Black Law Student Association, Lambda Law Student Association and Law and Political Economy Society, Veres is taking on a new challenge this year as the president of the Graduate Student Council (GSC).

In her role as GSC president, Veres hopes to increase communication across graduate programs and collaborate with university administration to the benefit of all graduate students in terms of inclusion, student health and professional opportunities.

鈥淚鈥檓 honored to serve the graduate student body in this capacity and look forward to the year!鈥 Veres said.
