On Sunday, May 16, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Law will celebrate the Class of 2021 during an in-person commencement ceremony at Freiberger Field.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the university cannot accommodate guests at this year’s event, however, friends and families are invited to gather together online as the school’s leadership presents the diplomas. The ceremony will be available to view online from 1 - 2:30 p.m. EST at case.edu/livestream/s1 (to watch with captions, visit case.edu/livestream/s2).
The ceremony will begin with congratulatory messages from Dean Berg and Dean Scharf, well wishes from members of the law school faculty and staff, the presentation of awards and remarks from outgoing Student Bar Association President Isaiah Pinckney III. Environmental law expert Jim Chen (LAW ‘91) will address the graduates before the diplomas are presented.
The university’s virtual convocation ceremony, featuring reflections from convocation speaker Marc H. Morial, along with the presentation of the Hovorka Prize, honorary degrees, and the official degree conferral, will be available online on May 30.
