Jack Turner has taught international LLM students at the law school since 2010.  He came to the LLM Program under its founder Lewis Katz. Turner has served in several positions within the program. He, along with Katz, have helped shape the LLM curriculum as the program has grown including implementing a spring start for incoming students. Turner is currently serving as Director of the International LLM Program.

Turner has taught courses including Foreign Graduate Seminar, SJD Seminar and Professional Responsibility. Turner currently teaches Contract Law and U.S. Scholarly Legal Writing in the International LLM Program. He also directs the Summer Language and Law Institute for international students and legal professionals interested in a summer course in legal English and an introduction to the basics of the U.S. legal system. Turner also teaches at the law school's partner school, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, in Chongqing, China. Turner has traveled extensively in China and the Middle East recruiting students for the LLM program and connecting with alumni.  

Turner came to the law school’s LLM program with an extensive background in the Cleveland legal community. He has worked as an associate for one of Cleveland’s top law firms and has had experience working for a small boutique firm. He has also served as a staff attorney for a Common Pleas Judge in Cuyahoga County. While studying at the law school, he was an articles editor for the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Law Review. Before attending law school, Turner spent seven years as a television and radio reporter.
