Event Description
Join us for the final installment in our George Floyd Teach-In Series, where we'll compare the COVID-19 stay-home protests with the Black Lives Matter protests and discuss the intersection of the rights to free speech and to bear arms under the First and Second Amendments. The teach-in will also examine limits on the use of tear gas and rubber bullets, the militarization of police and carrying firearms while protesting.
The event features three ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Law faculty, including Professors Bryan Adamson, Jonathan Adler and Jessie Hill, who will moderate the event.
The event will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and is broadcast live from the
Bryan Adamson, incoming ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ chaired professor of law and associate dean of diversity and inclusion.
