The Core Mac Computer Lab

A microphone used for recording in the computer lab

The Core (Haydn Hall, 16) is a Macintosh computer classroom and lab dedicated to mind, sound, and vision. The Core is a collaborative space for all ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ students, faculty, and staff, as well as the University Circle community, to gather, collaborate, and design in visual and aural mediums. We not only offer computers and software, but also cameras and microphones for checkout, one-on-one tutorial time, classes, and a meeting space.

We recommend each student have a flash drive and a portable external hard drive as a means to transfer and back up files between their own computers and any on campus work spaces.

Whether you’re a freshman, new on campus and learning how to digitally notate music, or retired and looking to learn more about integrating technology in your lifestyle, the Core can be a learning space for you.
