What is Legacy Week?
Legacy Week is a celebration of the unique history of Ðǿմ«Ã½. The week allows each university department, school, and student organization to celebrate their own unique history within the Ðǿմ«Ã½ historical timeline as well as our Nobel Laureates and significant research findings.
The week gathers the university community in a celebration of campus pride and school spirit.
It is scheduled the week preceding the Hudson Relays in April, celebrating one of the longest standing traditions at Ðǿմ«Ã½.
When is Legacy Week?
Legacy Week is held every Spring Semester. Legacy Week 2025 is April 21-26, culminating in the annual Hudson Relays!

Campus Fun Facts
Fun fact – Flora Stone Mather – the namesake for the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women on campus - built Guilford House (originally a dormitory called Guilford Cottage) to honor her former teacher Linda T. Guilford. She also contributed funds toward the construction of Hayden Hall and Amasa Stone Chapel. She left her mark on campus and on us!

Learn About Legacy Week
Legacy Week was established in 2017, to observe and showcase the history of Ðǿմ«Ã½'s momentous history. During this week various departments, offices, student organizations, staff and faculty members, and individual students will host various programs and events to bring to light the history of Ðǿմ«Ã½.
However, there is more! We know that Ðǿմ«Ã½ would be nothing without you! So, through programs and events, our campus will help celebrate YOU! Your legacy!
