Implementation and Improvement Science

Investigating the intersection between implementation and improvement science and the factors related to success. Implementation and improvement theories and innovative research methods are used in our studies to understand factors related to initiation and sustainment of change.

Age-Friendly Study

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, in partnership with CVS MinuteClinic® and with advising from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), seeks to extend the impact of the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative. The planning grant was funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation.

HRSA/ENRICH Study

The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing has partnered with established community-based veteran’s affairs primary care providers to provide undergraduate nursing students and licensed registered nurses with the education and training experiences necessary to practice primary care at the full extent of their license.

Systems Thinking Study

Conducted between October 2008 and December 2010, the goal of this project was to develop and conduct psychometric testing of a measure of systems thinking, the Systems Thinking Scale.

Pre & Postdoctoral Fellowship

Dr. Dolansky is the National Nurse Director of the Veterans Administration Quality Scholars Program. Nurse pre- and post-doctoral fellows study improvement and implementation science methods to advance our understanding of imitating and sustaining change.
