Friday Night at the ER Simulation and Workshop
November 7, 2024, 4pm - 7pm
Samson Pavilion, Room 163
鈥淔riday Night at the ER鈥 is an engaging simulation that creates an opportunity for individuals and teams to learn how to break down siloed thinking and apply interdependent and interprofessional problem-solving and systems thinking in everyday practices.
Don鈥檛 let the title of the simulation fool you; 鈥淔riday Night at the ER鈥 is not solely about the delivery of health care, and it is not limited to professionals who work in the healthcare field. While 鈥淔riday Night at the ER鈥 simulates a day in a hospital setting, it focuses on collaborating across functional boundaries to achieve system goals, making it an applicable simulation tool for any industry.
If you believe you or your team would benefit from refining your teamwork in innovation, creative problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, distributed leadership skills and systems thinking, then this simulation is for you! If you ever wondered how your team can be more effective in stressful situations, this simulation will also provide that opportunity.
Food will be provided. Space is limited, registration required.
