The past academic year has included many firsts for the Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research. That includes the first ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ interprofessional team to compete in the University of Minnesota . This year's case topic focused on natural disasters, migration and family well-being. The student team worked together to develop a plan for a network that would support and serve families during times of crisis.

While this year's competition was virtual, the team noted, "Overall, it was a wonderful experience for all of us, and we learned a lot about interprofessional communication, working as a team, and a lot about natural disasters. … We hope ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ continues entering this competition in the future, which will hopefully be in person in Minnesota!"
