Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation

Each year, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ honors Martin Luther King, Jr.—the holiday, the man, the legend—with a celebration that includes a range of activities: workshops, films, panel discussions, and acclaimed speakers. All members of the university and the community at large are invited to observe King's holiday and recognize his commitment to social justice and global peace.

This year's moderated conversation will be given by the Honorable Valerie Jarrett, Chief Executive Officer of The Barack Obama Foundation, on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 12:45 p.m. in the Kelvin and Eleanor Smith Foundation Ballroom in the Tinkham-Veale University Center.

This event is free and open to the campus community and the general public, but registration is strongly encouraged.

Parking is available in the Campus Center Parking Lot 29, 11172 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.

A dessert reception and book signing will follow the conversation.
