Apollo’s Fire and tenor Karim Sulayman won Best Classical Solo Vocal Album for their recent album, “Songs of Orpheus.” This was the first recording by Apollo’s Fire to receive a . The album, released on Avie Records in April, features music by Monteverdi, Caccini, and others. One of the tracks on the album features Julie playing a solo violin sonata by Dario Castello (1602-1631).
