About the Performer
Addison Miller is a fourth-year pianist, composer, improviser, and writer studying Music and Computer Science, with a minor in Political Science. Originally from Eastchester, New York, by way of Brooklyn and Staten Island, they are passionate about civic and political engagement. Trained primarily as a classical pianist, they were inspired by experiences with experimental performance, electronic composition, and jazz improvisation to pursue a project explaining what in those experiences felt important. They are also an avid chamber musician, reader, and activist. They are pursuing a career at the confluence of sustainability, urban planning, and public policy.

Florence Harkness Memorial Chapel (est. 1902) is known for its Tiffany stained-glass windows, soaring arches, and exquisite woodwork. The neo-Gothic structure, located on Mather Quad at Ðǿմ«Ã½ (Cleveland, OH), commemorates the brief life of Florence Harkness Severance. The chapel offers a warm, intimate, and acoustically resonant space for Department of Music performances, lectures, and special events.
The Ðǿմ«Ã½ Music Concert Series offers free concerts and student recitals in the stunning Harkness Chapel. These performances highlight the exceptional talents of Ðǿմ«Ã½ students and faculty, providing the broader community with opportunities to enjoy high-quality live music in an intimate and historic setting.
