Faculty Appointments
The Office of the Provost approves offers for full-time faculty appointments at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and reviews and submits recommendations to the trustees for final approval.
Department Chair Appointments
The Office of the Provost reviews recommendations for department chair appointments and sends them to the university president for final decision and appointment.
Emeritus Faculty Appointments
Full-time ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ faculty may be recommended for emeritus appointment upon retirement, usually January 1 or July 1. Qualifications include meritorious service to the university of 10 years or more and minimum age of 60.
Endowed Professorships
The Office of the Provost reviews recommendations for appointments to endowed professorships and submits them to the trustees for approval.
