The Emergency Food Assistance and Food Security (EFAFS) study team, in coordination with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, was delighted to welcome attendees to "What We Bring to the Table: Exploring Community Food Access and Experience," a photo exhibition on Thursday, September 15th at the MLK Jr., branch of the Cleveland Public Library.
Attendees were able to enjoy several speeches from Dr. Owusua Yamoah, the EFAFS primary investigator, Ms. Joyce Lester, a participant of the study, City Council President Blaine Griffin, Ms. Jacqueline Dolata, from the Center for Reducing Health Disparities, and Ms. Kristen Mikelbank, from the Greater Cleveland Foodbank.
Special thanks go to City Council President Blaine Griffin, State Representative Kent Smith, Councilwoman Meredith Turner, Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell, and representatives from the office of Senator Rob Portman for attending.
