CCEL Civic Engagement Mini-Grants

The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning provides project mini-grants of $150 to support ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ civic engagement projects for the academic year. These mini-grants are designated for projects and activities that promote principles of civic engagement and actively engage students, staff, faculty, and/or community members. Mini-grants may cover materials, supplies, and/or transportation costs that are essential to the goals of the service project or program. Learn more about the mini-grants and application process.

Candid

The Foundation Center and Guidestar combined to create Candid, a nonprofit organization whose data tools on nonprofits, foundations, and grants are the most comprehensive in the world. Through them, you can research and verify nonprofits and locate a variety of funding sources. to learn more about grant-seeking and funding information.

Dream Fund

Under-resourced undergraduate students at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ have the opportunity to apply for a $2,500 award from the Dream Fund. The Dream Fund is made possible by the commitment of a generous donor who believes strongly in providing the resources for students to broaden their access to co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including conference attendance, leadership development, studying abroad, living expenses related to internships, professional development, other experiential education opportunities, and more. Humanities@Work summer internship funding

The Baker-Nord Center and Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education have teamed up to offer  who receive an outside offer to work at an unpaid internship. The stipends are designed to enable students from all economic backgrounds to spend their summer working in a meaningful role with the organization or employer of their choice.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award

The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award provides $30,000 stipends for a graduating college seniors to pursue one year of public service anywhere in the world. Students are encouraged to develop their own proposals for public service in the U.S. or abroad. The proposal may encompass any activity that furthers the public good. It can be undertaken by the student alone or working through established charitable, religious, educational, governmental, or other public service organizations. Applications are typically due by mid-January. to learn more.

Social Justice Institute Fellowships

The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Social Justice Institute (SJI) has funded Social Justice Fellowships for graduate students and faculty. Applicants have the opportunity to carry out research or projects related to social justice, which can be in any discipline. Undergraduate Research Office

The goal of the Undergraduate Research Office at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is to assist and prepare students to engage in research and creative endeavors. Visit their website to learn about current funding opportunities.

Welter-Muzic Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Child Studies

The Schubert Center for Child Studies accepts applications for the Welter-Muzic Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Child Studies program. This program supports undergraduate student experiential learning and research in the areas of childhood and adolescence. Undergraduate students may apply for between $200 and $1000 to cover costs that can include research-related travel, conference attendance, program fees for experiential education, and more. Projects must have a focus on child well-being and include implications for child-related policy. All majors and minors are encouraged to apply. For more information, .
