Marcos Rivera earned his B.A in Liberal Studies and M.A. in Counseling Education from Bowling Green State University and has worked in higher education his entire career. Prior to working with the Career Center, he worked for the School of Dental Medicine at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, and before that was an Assistant Dean at Cuyahoga Community College. He also worked at Cleveland State, Baldwin Wallace University and Purdue. Earning his certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator in 2016, Marcos also graduated from The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Executive Leadership Development Program in the same year. In his role with the Career Center, he works with students whose career interests are in engineering, technology and sciences and assists alumni seeking additional career guidance. His personal interests are in technology, education, leadership development, nutrition, and exercise science. Marcos is a fitness enthusiast who loves Cleveland professional sports, the outdoors and enjoys traveling with his wife. They have three incredible children.
Fun Fact: Marcos has an older sister from California he met through 23&Me in 2018. She has been a wonderful addition to his family!
