Dominic Gattozzi joined the SA&L team in October 2022 as the assistant director of leadership programs. Dominic works closely with the emerging leaders program, Springfest, SLAC, and many other leadership development programs for the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ community. He also coordinates ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s CliftonStrengths assessment administration, Strengths Workshops, and other programs surrounding the CliftonStrengths Assessment. He is excited to support current and future Spartan leaders on campus and beyond. He is especially passionate about supporting first-year students as they transition into college and develop their own identity and leadership style.

Dominic brings four years of experience in leadership development to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, previously working at Bowling Green State University in their leadership and civic engagement office. Prior to working in student affairs, Dominic was a K-12 music teacher, teaching everything from kindergarten general music to band, choir, and history of rock and roll.

Dominic holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The University of Akron, and a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in higher education administration at BGSU. His research interests include first-generation college students especially from rural and agricultural backgrounds and the influence of popular culture on the college experience. Dominic is a lifelong Clevelander, born on the east side but now living on the west side with his fiancé Kevin and two rescue dogs – Marin and Jaxson. He stays active in the community through volunteering as a ski patroller in the Cleveland area and playing trumpet in several community bands.
