Safety Advisory
This incident occurred off campus and did not involve anyone affiliated with ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, but because of the proximity to the university, campus police would like the campus community to be aware.
Crime: Attempted Kidnapping
Location of incident: RTA Little Italy–University Circle Rapid Station
Date of Incident: Feb. 16, 2021
Time of Incident: 8:50 a.m.
Incident Description: A female victim reported that as she disembarked from the RTA train, a male suspect attempted to grab her before he fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Suspect(s) Description: The suspect is described as a heavyset black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing black boots, two sweatshirts and a face covering.
Additional information: Any information on this crime should be reported to RTA police at 216.566.5163.
