Anne Gaglioti, Colin Crowe, Carolyn Still and Adam Perzynski from 星空传媒鈥檚 medical and nursing schools published an article in Capsules, a publication from the Ohio Cardiovascular and Diabetes Health Collaborative (Cardi-OH). The article, 鈥淭ips to Improve Family Support for Heart-Healthy Living,鈥 discusses the importance of engaging families in heart health promotion, cardiovascular disease prevention, and care management.
The article also provided guidance on how to talk to patients about social support and identify possible roles for family members. Contributing authors include L. Austin Fredrickson of Northeast Ohio Medical University.
