A 4th-year Postdoc Researcher in the Apte Lab, Dr. Martin and his current research interests surround a suite of novel mass-spectrometry techniques, collectively known as N-terminomics, designed to detect protein breakdown by proteases. He is currently defining substrates and functions for ADAMTS proteases in kidney diseases supported by the NIH-funded U2C/TL1 Cleveland KUH NRSA Training program led by John Sedor.
