Using our Spartan logo.
Because of the Spartan logo’s strong historical identification with the university’s varsity sports teams, its primary use is for materials related to athletics. In certain instances, however, the Spartan head may be used for purposes that are not directly related to university sports.
Those outside the department of athletics who wish to request permission to use the Spartan logo should submit formal requests to the office of University Marketing and Communications at marcominfo@case.edu. These requests should describe both the intended use of the logo and the rationale for using the Spartan logo as opposed to another university logo.
Communications from the university department of athletics should follow guidelines outlined here for use of the university logo. The Spartan logo should not appear without or replace the university logo.
