Before stepping into the new year, we want to take you back to some of our favorite moments at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ in 2022.

Student community

at the university’s first fully fledged commencement weekend in almost three years, and this fall we . Nearly half of the Class of 2026 identify as people of color: 25% identify as underrepresented minorities, and another 24% identify as Asian American.

Rankings

Various programs at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ rose in 2022 rankings, thanks to the dedicated work of faculty, staff and students, as well as support from alumni and friends.

  • Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing’s undergraduate program was ;
  • Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences among nearly 300 accredited schools and programs;
  • The Department of Theater was , making The Hollywood Reporter’s list of top 25 programs worldwide for the fifth consecutive year;

Researchers at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ were awarded hundreds of millions of dollars in grant funding, with studies ranging from to , to , to .

Campus developments

The in May at the Health Education Campus of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and Cleveland Clinic in the Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion.

To keep up with the demands of a growing campus community, summer brought a , complete with security upgrades, additional seating options, increased Wi-Fi access and more.

After two years of virtual and hybrid events, , during which time Weatherhead School of Management celebrated .

Donor support

for the fifth year in a row this April, giving a total of $751,184 to university funds. And in November, for #GivingTuesdayatÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
