April 23: Sam Senyo, PhD

Sam Senyo is an associate professor in biomedical engineering at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. After growing up in Virginia, he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in biomedical engineering. Senyo applies advanced technology to study cardiac biology and disease. His lab is investigating novel strategies for cardiac tissue engineering towards heart regeneration.

Danette Conklin is an assistant professor of psychiatry at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Medicine. She also practices psychology across the University Hospitals system.
