Life-threatening Emergencies
If you are on campus, call ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Public Safety at 216.368.3333.
If you are off campus, call 911.
Examples of life-threatening emergencies:
- Car accident
- Criminal activity
- Missing persons
- Suicidal thoughts
- Thoughts about self-harm
- Thoughts about harming others
- Natural disasters (tornado, flood, etc.)
- Sexual assault
- Other violence
Immigration-related Emergencies
During regular business hours, 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays), please call the VISA Office directly at 216.368.6964.
Outside of regular business hours, call ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Public Safety at 216.368.3300, and the dispatcher will help connect you to a VISA staff member any time of day, any day of the week.
Examples of immigration-related emergencies:
- Detainment at US port of entry
- Immediate threat of deportation
NOTE: Travel signature requests are not emergency situations. Students may request a travel signature on a visa document (I-20 or DS-2019) online using the appropriate link on this page. For questions, or to request an emergency expedite of your travel signature request, contact the VISA Office by visiting the office or by emailing visa@case.edu.
