Congratulations to Dr. Dominique Rose, Ph.D., CHES who graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Education from Southern Illinois University. As a dual-degree student, she also earned a Master of Public Health degree. Dominique is currently the Program Manager for the Modeling the Future of Food in Your Neighborhood Study at the Mary Ann Swetland Center for Environmental Health at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½), School of Medicine. Her research interests include food access, health equity, rural health disparities, and community-based food systems. Dominique has invested in a wide range of projects including the analysis of the social determinants of food insecurity among children and adults, and the evaluation of two statewide grant-funded programs such as the Double Value Coupon Program and the Opioid Prescription program.
