We are excited to welcome Brianna Williams on to our team! She is joining us as a Research Associate, and you can learn more about her in the interview below.
- What project will you be working on and what is your role?
I will be working on the SNAP-Ed Implementation project as a Program Manager. I will be working on the implementation of Snap-Ed in Cuyahoga County. I’ll be partnering with Ohio State University Extension to implement evidence-based programmatic interventions within SNAP-eligible populations. In addition, I will be working on the PSE READI tool and related projects.
- Where are you from?
I am originally from Elyria, Ohio, but grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.
- What is your background in?
My background is in public health along with a clinical/hospital patient experience from my previous work.
- What excites you about joining the Swetland Center?
I am excited to delve into my filed of Public Health and truly start work that deals with research, community engagement and evidence-based programs and policies to better the heath and wellbeing of underserve populations. I’m also excited to collaborate with various people and teams on these projects.
- What is your favorite outdoor space in Cleveland or a place you want to explore?
I want to explore more of Midtown and Downtown Cleveland. I don’t go to these areas often and I’m always up for a new adventure!
