Another talented Graduate Research Assistant has joined the Swetland Center! Eleanor Gillerlane Hinkes has recently become a part of our team to provide assistance for the Community Nutrition Team. We are excited to gain insights and knowledge from her skills and experience, and we appreciate her contribution to our work.
1. What project will you be working on, and what is your role?
I will be working as a graduate research assistant on the Community Nutrition team, working on the PSI READI and FM Engage projects.
2. Where are you from?
New Jersey!
3. What is your background?
My background is mainly in Anthropology and English, and I am currently working towards my MPH and Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology. I am interested in environmental health, specifically the impacts of natural disasters.
4. What excites you about joining the Swetland Center?
I am excited about working collaboratively in an environmental health setting and gaining research experience utilizing a community-engaged approach.
5. What is your favorite outdoor space in Cleveland?
North Chagrin reservation!
